I heard that there are shunts that can 'act up' after one has an MRI. Do
you know which type of shunts can be affected by MRI's?

Thanks

Edgardo,

The shunts that are affected by MRIs are the programmable type shunts.

What is a programmable type shunt? When did they start making these? After
or before 1991?

Thanks
