Hi all,

I have Spina Bifida and am trying to find a forum or group where I can
find some answers I am having with catheterization. Specifically I'm
having trouble inserting the catheter at different times, my doctor is
stumped I think and has just prescribed antibiotics. The little
information I've found suggests that it may be bladder spasms.

Does anyone have any experience with this or know of a group where I
could find some answers?

Thanks

In my situation I catheterize in my wheelchair. When I switched chairs last
year I found it to be difficult, but thinking that was just at first said
nothing. Gradually if you continue doing it frequently it should stop being
a problem. However the fact the doctors have given you antibiotics may
indicate a kidney infection or kidney stone of some sort.

Keep an eye on it and see what happens. Best of luck.
